Techniques taught during the NeuroMuscular techniques course may include post-isometric relaxation, muscle activation techniques and positional release. Participants of this course learn about the anatomical and physiological mechanisms behind each technique, protocols for each technique, when these techniques can used and contraindications to be aware of. Specific examples shown of the techniques taught in this course focus on common areas of client complaint such as the neck, shoulders, upper back and lower back. Hands-on time is a part of the course so that participants can have a better understanding of what it is like to give and receive neuromuscular techniques. This is an excellent course for anyone wanting to increase their potential to help their clients.
